sorry about the lack of posts... I've been sort of bummed.

Had a complete physical the other day... blood tests and everything.

Found out I've got a damaged liver... no more alchohol for me anymore... ever.

ded kitty... RIAA.

People like to bug George Lucas about how his films "aren't as good" as they were before. I find myself falling asleep to the original trilogy these days... (probably because I've seen them a gazillion times) I'm still looking forward to the Clone Wars animated series.

After reading this, I REALLY want this show to air. If Scare Tactics doesn't make it to the Sci-Fi network I'll be very disappointed. I wonder if this lady knows that all she's accomplishing with this little stunt is giving good exposure for the TV show.

Just to let you know, I favor the conservatives with the issue... but I thought it was funny anyway...

All together now, to the tune of: "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands"
(shamelessly borrowed from Captain Spanky.net)

If you cannot find Osama, bomb Iraq.
If the markets are a drama, bomb Iraq.
If the terrorists are frisky,
Pakistan is looking shifty,
North Korea is too risky, Bomb Iraq.

If we have no allies with us, bomb Iraq.
If we think someone has dissed us, bomb Iraq.
So to hell with the inspections,
Let's look tough for the elections,
Close your mind and take directions,Bomb Iraq.

It's "pre-emptive non-aggression", bomb Iraq.
Let's prevent this mass destruction, bomb Iraq.
They've got weapons we can't see,
And that's good enough for me
'Cos it's all the proof I need to Bomb Iraq.

If you never were elected, bomb Iraq.
If your mood is quite dejected, bomb Iraq.
If you think Saddam's gone mad,
With the weapons that he had,
(And he tried to kill your dad), Bomb Iraq.

If your corporate fraud is growin', bomb Iraq.
If your ties to it are showin', bomb Iraq.
If your politics are sleazy,
And hiding that ain't easy,
And your manhood's getting queasy, Bomb Iraq.

For our might knows no borders, bomb Iraq.
It is time you followed orders, bomb Iraq.
Disagree? We'll call it treason,
Let's make war not love this season,
Even if we have no reason, Bomb Iraq.

Some guy has put together a little page with memorable quotes from Real Genius. I love this movie. Totally 80s and one of Val Kilmer's best characters. I think he should do more comedy.

A warning to all out there... after an 8 hour work day, It's not healthy to stay after work for an 3 extra hours to play video games AND THEN, go to a computer class that lasts another 3 hours.

If you watch enough anime, you can judge whether or not these laws are true. Although this applies mostly to the action area of the genre, I find myself nodding my head and saying "YUP!"

So Melissa and I are planning our wedding and she's totally on the ball looking through sites like Macys.com, and Weddingchannel.com and the practical sort...

I spend my time reading this rubbish. Once you get past all the scary fire graphics, there's some really interesting content! Not really productive in planning a wedding, but at least you can learn from others mistakes!

People in Austrailia see Mary in a fence post. While I admire people with such faith, sometimes a fence post blurred out from 300 meters away might just be a fence post blurred out from 300 meters away.

After so much negative press happening with the Catholic Church, and catastrophe after catastrophe piling up with all the events happening in the world today, I don't blame people for trying to find SOMETHING that sheds even a glimmer of hope in the world. I guess you just have to look?

Somethings wrong with a society that voluntarily tries to eliminate an entire gender from existence. It just doesn't make any sense. When I decide to have kids, I myself, would want a boy first too. But if it ends up being a girl, I'd love her just as much.

On the bright side... maybe all the stupid people will go extinct due to their own stupidity. Can't breed stupid people if stupid people can't find females stupid enough to reproduce them!

This weekend the Columbia blew up on its final approach. I was actually on my way to paddle practice when I heard on the radio that NASA lost contact with the shuttle. I thought they were still in orbit so I was concerned, but I forgot that they were landing that day so it didn't seem like a big deal to me. Maybe the transmitter on the shuttle is just down right? I didn't think that I just tuned into what was the beginning of another national tragedy.

We just had a fresh new start. Makes you wonder what else could go wrong?

My prayers to the astronauts that died this weekend and the families who mourn them.

Happy new year. :~(
