![]() Tuesday, May 27, 2003 When I was in junior high and highschool I didn't realize I was lucky to have the teachers I did. I guess these days, students go into college with a real disadvantage. I spent so much time doing research papers it was beyond ridiculous. It was okay at the time because my parents didn't let me have a life anyway. Also, the computer wasn't as prominent in the home as it is now. It's sad that with all this technology, people are actually becoming more illiterate. I mean come on!? The valedictorian doesn't know how to do a bibliography?!?!?!? This really makes me sad. I hope my children don't go through this... posted by chris | 10:15 AM(0) comments dedicated to wil...

(0) comments A definite hero for our generation. Back in 1987, this lady promised a group of first graders that they would get a college education. This year, she's spending all spring attending graduations.

(0) comments Thursday, May 08, 2003 Yesterday Melvin and I had an adventure out on the OC1s... Makes me respect the elements just that much more. I'll write about it when I have more time, but to hold you over, here's an awesome clip of people who know what they're doing from the Starbucks Ka'iwi Channel Relay. Simply awesome. I'd LOVE to be this good. damn...

(0) comments er... and now it seems now you actually CAN hear the soundtrack... posted by chris | 1:33 PM(0) comments You can almost hear the john william's soundtrack in the background. hahahhaha poor kid... life lesson... take the tape out of the vcr before someone else gets their hands on it. posted by chris | 1:27 PM(0) comments This weekend will by my first long distance race of the year. It's pretty unorthodox this year because the race has changed from a straight ironman open water race into a relay race around the island of Alameda.
