I guess these days, students go into college with a real disadvantage. I spent so much time doing research papers it was beyond ridiculous. Back in 1987, this lady promised a group of first graders that they would get a college education. This year, she's spending all spring attending graduations.
Not only did she pay for the tuition, she managed to actually spend time with these kids... that's so much more than throwing money at a problem.
